June 2009: Manager, Research Facilities Planning: Tony La Russa, Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, records his 2500th victory to make him only the 3rd manager to accomplish this feat in MLB history. La Russa joins Connie Mack (3,831) and John McGraw (2,763).
July 2006: Project Manager: The Boston Red Sox lose 6-5 to the Chicago White Sox in a 19-inning game spanning 6 hours and 19 minutes at US Cellular Field in Chicago. The teams combined 16 pitchers and 570 pitches.
October 1999: Research Facilities Coordinator: The New York Yankees defeat the Atlanta Braves to win their 25th World Series Championship.
May 1997: Research Associate: Eddie Murray joins Peter Rose, Carl Yastrzemski, Hank Aaron, Ty Cobb and Stan Musial by becoming the sixth player in history to play in his 3,000th game.
September 1994: Masters Graduate Student: A strike gives Major League Baseball a black eye.
September 1990: Undergraduate Student: The Chicago White Sox’s victory over the Seattle Mariners marks the final game ever to be played at historic Comiskey Park.
September 1985: High School Student: Pete Rose picks up his 4,191st hit to tie Ty Cobb’s record.
