Knowledge Upload: bioport technology
Knowledge…information.,.data…ideas…innovation…where does it end? How much more information can our brains handle, absorb and retain?

Having watched “The Matrix” for yet the nth time (simply amazing), I cannot wait until we can incorporate bioport technology into our heads to both upload and download information whenever we want…

Now, how convenient might that be?
Struck Pedestrian #11: Eleventh fatality in GTA
All of a sudden, news of pedestrians being struck and killed is being becoming way too common. The latest incident happened at Broadview and Danforth earlier today. At this rate, we should expect 182 pedestrian fatalities in 2010. Are these unnecessary deaths due to lack of awareness on either the driver or pedestrian’s part? Is this reduced awareness due to today’s distracting technologies (cell phones, ipods, cars, etc.)? Are pedestrians becoming over-confident when crossing in front of/behind a moving vehicle?
Dear Toronto pedestrians and drivers: Please OPEN YOUR EYES or be the next T.O. Roadkill…

Husbands Be Aware: Wives Reading Gail Blanke’s “Throw Out Fifty Things”
A few months ago, my wife picked up Success magazine. The inspiration from this magazine lead her to pick up Gail Blanke’s “Throw Out Fifty Things”…This book focuses on “clearing the clutter, finding your life”. Wow! Did she ever take it to another level. She pretty much “voluntold” me to participate in this stress-relieving event…Thank God for the ginseng green tea that I’ve been drinking. This tea had given me the power and strength to undergo the “clutter clearing”. The goal of the book is to clear 50 things over 2 weeks. A closet counts as one thing; dresser drawer counts as a another thing; etc…So, my loving wife sent me off with this list..First, I tackle the closet and then my dresser drawer…For the first time, I was able to get rid of dress shirts that are no longer trendy (nor do they look cool), pants that no longer fit, hangers that don’t match…Surprisingly, under my own free will, I organized my closet based on solid coloured shirts (from dark to light), long vs. short sleeve, dressy vs casual, etc…I must be on something (did I mention the ginseng green tea that has given me a boost of energy over the last few days)…Although clutter clearing can be boring, I decided to make it fun (ie. Like playing Halo on XBOX 360 or surfing the net for roto stats (my fantasy basketball team is leading the division)). Feel free to venture into my flickr website. You will find photographs of the t-shirts that are still with me…Every single t-shirt was photographed, folded and organized into the dresser drawer. Please enjoy the “Digital Decluttering Gallery: Collection of T-Shirt”….Crazy!!! I have never did this before…To be honest, I actually felt good…A decluttered space leads to a decluttered mind which then leads to a happy wife…
Advice for the Husbands out there: Pick up this book, read it cover-to-cover and start decluttering. If you beat your wife to the punch, you will have SO MUCH MORE TIME FOR YOURSELF…and of course, FOR EACH OTHER…..
Happy Decluttering
